I spent some time watching the Chinook Salmon at the Cowichan River before heading back to the BCFDC for the Halloween Train!!!
Documenting my self-challenge to take (at least) one photo a day and discover what a difference in someone's life photography can make.

Day 17 - A Halloween Haunt
The BC Forest Discovery Centre is having its first ever Halloween weekend, filled with ghosts and gouls. Heres some of my photos from the first night.
The ghost of the countess in her 1919 Morgan driving endlessly through the haunted forest.
Dont put your arms out of the train of they will be cut off by a chain saw!

Day 7
I took one shot specifically for this challenge today of bubbles in the very bottom of a wine glass...
This last photo is a themed photo for Halloween!!! How could I resist showing the pumpkins my roommate and I carved?!?!
Day 6
Once again my schedule did not allow me to post this on day 6 itself. I looked around my room for inspiration this time and took the following shot of the frame of my mirror against the wall.

Day 2
I went for a walk this morning to the beach and was greeted by a gorgeous sunrise, a great blue heron, and otters! My camera battery died shortly before I headed back but I got some nice shots :)
A red sky in morning, sailors take warning.... Wonder what kind of day is headed our way?

This great blue heron can be seen almost every morning in the same branch of the same tree. Quite predictable, but so nice to look at!
The sunlight made for some cool shots of the dew on various plants.
And of course, the star attraction, the three river otters. Of which, I was informed today that it is possible that they are this years pups. Which would explain why they seem to be so inseperable.

Day 1... Still!!!!
I find myself impatient for tomorrow to come so I can take more photos! I don't know how long this enthusiasm will last but I am strongly considering going to sleep early just so morning can come sooner (reminds me of Christmas, Easter, and my birthday...).
I am planning on heading to the beach tomorrow to see if I can snap some more photos of these cuties! I took this pic on Sept. 26th, so it doesn't count but I couldn't resist sharing a photo of them. These three otters are a regular sight along the beaches in my area and can often be seen eating fish they catch in the bay.
Well, you will all hear from me tomorrow when I come back with a fresh slew of photos to add to my collection!
